The college was established in 2016 with an intention to promote Science education in the tribal dominated and educationally backward district like Mayurbhanj. It was a noble initiative to spread the message of self-empowerment through education among the youth mass of Mayurbhanj District. The College Management is headed by it's founder Director Sri Amiya Sankar Sahoo who is a Educationist and a Philanthropist is an active, enthusiastic person of tall thoughts and ideas. In the first year of its inception, the seats were filled up by the strategies undertaken by the Management and later it was highly appreciated by the people of the vicinity and the College proved its worth by producing graduates per excellence. Now the growth of the institution has been enormous having Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Geology, Botany & Zoology as the Honours Departments in it. The college has developed extensively and earned the admiration of the public and the student as well.
